What SideDoor does

SideDoor finds people worth contacting about a role and drafts a message you can use. SideDoor does not send anything on your behalf. Reviewing, editing, and sending every message is done by you.

Outreach is your responsibility

You are solely responsible for any message you send, who you send it to, and how you use the contact details revealed to you. Drafts are suggestions — verify the recipient and the content before sending. You are responsible for ensuring your outreach is lawful, accurate, and appropriate.

No spam

SideDoor is for individual, relevant, one-to-one professional approaches about a specific role. You must not use it to send unsolicited bulk or repetitive messages, and you must comply with all applicable law — including the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), or equivalent rules in your jurisdiction. Misuse may result in your account being suspended or terminated.

No guarantee of results

SideDoor does not guarantee a reply, an introduction, an interview, or a job. Contact data is sourced from third parties and may be incomplete or out of date. Generated drafts may contain errors — always check them. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Acceptable use

Do not use SideDoor to harass anyone, to scrape or resell contact data, to misrepresent your identity, or for any unlawful purpose. One account per person.

Payments, plans & refills

SideDoor has a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in pounds sterling (GBP) through Stripe, our payment processor. Subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel; one-time refill packs are single payments. Refill packs add to your balance and do not expire. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies; we may change prices for future billing periods, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Cancelling, renewals & refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge you again after that. As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a new purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because access to the paid features is digital content supplied immediately, by starting to use them you ask us to begin straight away and accept that this 14-day right ends once the service has been provided. None of this affects your statutory rights, including a refund where the service is faulty or not as described.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideDoor is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from messages you choose to send. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination & changes

You may stop using SideDoor at any time. You can delete your account from Settings or by emailing team@sidedoor.site. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will say so, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
